Unblock Red: Slide Puzzle
Last updated: 23 September 2026
The short version. Unblock Red: Slide Puzzle has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and we do not collect or store any personal information on our own servers. Your puzzle progress stays on your device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos, a small banner you can close, and a short interstitial on some levels. Google receives limited device information to serve ads. That is the entire extent of data handling in this app.
1. Who we are
Unblock Red: Slide Puzzle (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is published by AppUnik. If you have any question about this policy or about privacy in the app, contact us at info@appunik.com.
2. Information we do not collect
The app does not:
- require an account, login, or registration of any kind;
- ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address;
- access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, or files;
- collect or record your precise location (Google may infer a coarse region from your IP address to serve ads);
- contain any analytics or crash-reporting SDK from us;
- transmit your puzzle progress, stars, streaks, or settings off your device;
- sell or rent any information about you to anyone.
3. Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the app saves the following locally, in your device’s own app storage:
- which puzzles you have completed, star ratings, and best move counts;
- your daily-puzzle streak, sprint high score, and remaining hints;
- an in-progress board if you leave mid-level;
- your preferences, such as sound, music, haptics, theme, and Reduce Motion.
This information never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any server we control. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently.
4. Advertising
Unblock Red: Slide Puzzle shows ads provided by Google AdMob:
- an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch for one extra hint after the three free hints on a level are used;
- an optional rewarded video for 30 extra seconds when a timed level runs out;
- a small banner under the board while you play, which you can close;
- a short interstitial after every fifth level in a pack (levels 5, 10, 15, and so on) before the next level unlocks. You can dismiss that prompt and stay on the previous screen.
There are no in-app purchases. Puzzle content ships with the app and plays without an account.
When an ad is requested, Google may receive and process:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device advertising identifier | Frequency capping, ad measurement, and fraud prevention |
| Device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language) | Delivering an ad that renders correctly on your device |
| IP address, and coarse country/region derived from it | Serving region-appropriate ads and meeting legal requirements |
| Ad interaction events (an ad was shown, watched, or closed) | Measuring ad delivery and paying the developer |
Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policies, not ours:
Controlling ad personalisation
On iPhone, the app shows Apple’s tracking prompt before ads use the device identifier. Ads may use that identifier to be more relevant. You can decline and still play. Where the law requires a choice, a regional consent form from Google appears before ads start. When Google requires privacy options, the in-app Settings screen includes Ad privacy choices so you can change that decision later. Google still receives the advertising identifier as described above when an ad is requested.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can delete or opt out of your advertising ID.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
5. Children’s privacy
Unblock Red: Slide Puzzle is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no accounts, no messaging, no user-generated content, and no social features, there is no mechanism by which a child could submit personal information to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us at info@appunik.com and we will act on it promptly.
6. Permissions the app uses
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet access | Required solely to load advertisements. All puzzle content ships with the app and every board plays offline. |
| Vibration / haptics | Tactile feedback when a piece moves, a move is blocked, or a puzzle is completed. |
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws — including rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side for us to retrieve, amend, or erase. All data the app stores is on your own device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, please exercise your rights directly with Google using the links in section 4, or use the device-level advertising controls described there.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
8. Data retention and security
We operate no servers and no databases for this app, so we retain nothing. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own operating system security and is removed when you delete the app.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data — for example, by adding a new feature — we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s store listing release notes. Please review this page from time to time.
